Back to school time is emotional for every parent. And while babies starting pre-k get a lot of attention, it’s no less emotional for parents of teens starting their first day of high school! Mark Wahlberg and his wife Rhea Durham are going through that right now with their 14-year-old son Brendan, and they shared an emotional Instagram post about it.

Brendan wears his school uniform, which consists of grey shorts and a blue sweater vest over a white button-down shirt with sneakers. Mark Wahlberg & Rhea Durham Have Four Kids

The family recently moved to Las Vegas in order for his kids to “pursue” their dreams.
“I spent lots of time in L.A. pursuing my interests and my career and now it’s time for them to pursue theirs. Everybody is thriving there, it’s been great,” he said, per E! News.
Previously, he told The Talk, “To be able to give my kids a better life and follow and pursue their dreams — whether it be my daughter as an equestrian, my son as a basketball player, my younger son as a golfer — this made a lot more sense for us. We came here to just kind of give ourselves a new look, a fresh start for the kids, and there’s lot of opportunity here. I’m really excited about the future.”

Summer in Vegas

“Summer stuff ????????????????♂️?,” she captioned a photo dump on July 31. The photos include her kids hanging out in the swimming pool, with Nevada mountains in the background, photos of Grace on a horse, and pictures paddleboarding, boat riding, and celebrating their dog Lola’s birthday.
It looks like a dream!
