Keeping your toddler happy — and out of trouble — is no easy feat. Especially when you live near the Australia Zoo, which is basically the coolest natural playground, ever, full of things like turtle ponds and rhinos! But Bindi Irwin’s brother Robert Irwin is an experienced uncle, and he knows exactly how to make sure his 2-year-old niece Grace stays safe (and smiling!) — he just has to give her a piggyback ride!
“Uncle life 😁,” the wildlife photographer wrote on Instagram today. He posted a picture of his adorable niece sitting on his shoulders. She’s wearing a brown floral dress over white tights and giving the camera the biggest gap-toothed grin we’ve ever seen. Grace is clearly having the time of her life!

The toddler, who Bindi shares with husband Chandler Powell, even brought her toys along for the ride. She’s holding two little shark toys as Robert keeps her steady with one of his hands and snaps the selfie with the other.
The cute duo look like they’re ready to go exploring in the Outback!

Grace Recently Turned 2
Grace celebrated her second birthday in March, where she had a cottagecore birthday party.
“Garden party with our birthday girl. ?” Bindi wrote, along with several photos of Grace looking like a princess and a blue-and-white checkered dress.
She is growing up so fast, and her relationship with her uncle just keeps getting stronger. Earlier this year, he even started giving her guitar lessons (although we aren’t sure how her tiny hands are able to make the chords yet).

The Family Came Together After Bindi’s Diagnosis
In March, Bindi shared that she finally received treatment for her endometriosis diagnosis.
“For [10 years] I’ve struggled with insurmountable fatigue, pain and nausea. Trying to remain a positive person and hide the pain has been a very long road,” she wrote.
In a new Instagram video today, she shared more details surrounding her diagnosis and treatment.
“Enormous gratitude to my incredible mum and brother for being there with me every step of the way, including my treatment and surgery,” she wrote in the caption. “It was because of them that I have a second chance at life.”
She continued, “I will never be able to thank them enough for all that they have done for me and our family. To my husband and his parents for being with Grace while Mum, Robert and I dealt with my operation and recovery together.”
“I hope this video may shed some light on my story to help you or someone you know battling with this disease,” she said.
